These are the materials of the workshop “Introduction to the assessment of the statistical confidence of surveys” organized in the project “Assessing the confidence in pest freedom gained in the past pine wood nematode surveys” funded by the European Food Safety Authority (GP/EFSA/ENCO/2020/03 - Partnering grants). The aim of the project is to build capacity for assessing the probability of pest freedom gained in past pine wood nematode (Bursaphelenchus xylophilus) surveys. The project is a co-operation between the Finnish Food Authority, the Estonian Agriculture and Food Board, the Lithuanian State Plant Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. ; FI; en; PDF; salla.hannunen@foodauthority.fi
