PENERAPAN PERATURAN DAERAH KOTA PADANG NOMOR 8 TAHUN 2015 TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN DAN PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP TERHADAP PEMBUANGAN LIMBAH PABRIK DI DAERAH MUARO PADANG
Waste is waste whose presence the environment does not want because it does not have an economic value. Formulation of the problem: (1) How is the implementation of the Padang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2015 concerning Environmental Protection and Management of Factory Waste Disposal in the Muaro Padang Area, (2) What are the obstacles faced by the Padang City Environmental Service regarding the Disposal of Factory Waste in Muaro Padang Area, (3) What are the efforts made by the Padang City Environmental Service in implementing Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2015 on Disposal of Factory Waste in the Muaro Padang Area. Types of sociological legal research, primary data sources and secondary data, interviews and document studies, were analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions are (1) The implementation of the Padang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2015 is that individuals / companies that dispose of factory waste must meet the requirements of Environmental Quality Standards, obtaining permission from the Mayor. (2) Obstacles faced by the Padang City Environmental Service regarding the Disposal of Factory Waste in the Muaro Padang Area are the lack of awareness of the community / company to dispose of garbage / waste, (3) Efforts made by the Padang City Environmental Service in implementing Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2015 is the socialization of environmental cleanliness, the existence of strict policies or regulations, intensive supervision and law enforcement, training for business actors who dispose of waste into rivers.
