La grande rassegna-mostra "Buone Nuove, Donne in Architettura" al MAXXI è l'occasione per costruire una narrazione critica sull'architettura al femminile e per riportare alla luce storie insabbiate o poco conosciute. Come si evince dalla mostra, la storia dell’architettura, da un secolo a questa parte, è contornata di figure femminili che hanno lasciato tracce tangibili – oggetti, progetti, manifesti, libri, interviste, video – con il loro poliedrico lavoro, tanto poliedrico quanto l’architettura, che è insieme teoria e pratica, pensiero e azione, ricerca e mestiere. Al contempo, parlare di gender oggi significa fomentare la riflessione su tutte le forme di discriminazione, dentro e oltre lo spazio architettonico.ricerca e mestiere. Il saggio è una lettura critica della mostra e un'occasione per fare il punto sul tema di architettura e gender. ; The major exhibition "Buone Nuove, Women in Architecture" at MAXXI is an opportunity to construct a critical narrative on women's architecture and to bring to light buried or little-known stories. As the exhibition shows, the history of architecture over the last century has been studded with female figures who have left tangible traces - objects, projects, posters, books, interviews, videos - with their multifaceted work, as multifaceted as architecture, which is both theory and practice, thought and action, research and craft. At the same time, talking about gender today means fomenting reflection on all forms of discrimination, within and beyond architectural space.research and craft.
