Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der These, dass jegliche technologische Entwicklung ihre Widerspiegelung in Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Stadt findet. In diesem Zusammenhang wird untersucht ob, wodurch, inwieweit oder warum eine Veränderung des europäischen Stadtbildes und des Raumbegriffs aufgrund der aktuellen Medientechnologie stattfindet. Vor dem Hintergrund situativer, phänomenologischer, historischer, soziologischer, regulativer und ökonomischer Betrachtungen bildet die Entwicklung einer alternativen Planungsstrategie den Fokus der Arbeit. Diese sogenannte "Prozessorientierte Morphologieplanung" wird exemplarisch anhand der Stadt München veranschaulicht und formuliert eine Neuinterpretation des Verständnisses von Öffentlichkeit, Planung, Wahrnehmung und Raum. ; The thesis is based on the coherence of technolocical development and society, business economy and formation of the city. in this context the research project explores the actual influence of media technology to the european cities and the transformation of urban space. besides the consideration of the current situation and phenomena, history, sociology, economy and planning regularities, the thesis focuses on the investigation of an alternative city planning strategy. this "morphological and process-oriented planning strategy" is examined at the city of munich as an example. thereby, the strategy defines a new interpretation of the relation between publicity and planning, perception and space.
