Master's thesis consists of a theoretical and applied part. The theoretical part presents an analysis of the progressive collapse of the normative documents, standards and other regulated documents of various countries. The applied part contains the analytical calculations of the main constructions of an administrative building: a slab, a beam, a column, a separate foundation. Mathcad software is used for calculations. And the principles of the literature analyzed in the theoretical part have been adapted to avoid progressive collapse when computer modeling with SCIA Nemetchek program. During the simulation, a column of the first floor is removed and conclusions are given on how the column structure and the structure of the structure would change if one of the columns were deprived of carrying capacity. The conclusions of the obtained results are presented.
