Erstellung eines TMA und Bestimmung der Expression von CD44 und Nanog ; Creation of a TMA and determination of the expression of CD44 and Nanog
Mit dieser Arbeit sollte der prognostische Einfluss der Tumormarker CD44 und Nanog bei Plattenepithelkarzinomen im Kopf-Hals-Bereich anhand von 180 Tumoroperationspräparaten mit 88 Lymphknotenmetastasen untersucht werden. Eine hohe Expression von CD44 bedeutete ein reduziertes krankheitsbedingtes Überleben und eine höhere Rezidivrate. Von den klinisch-pathologischen Daten korrelierten nur das T- und das UICC-Stadium (negative Korrelation) mit der CD44-Expression. Die Nanog- Expression war nur mit der Lokalrezidivrate, dem L1-Status und dem Grading assoziiert. ; The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic influence of the tumormarkers CD44 and Nanog in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck by means of 180 tumor surgical preparation with 88 lymph node metastases. A high Expression of CD44 meant a reduced disease-realted survival and a higher recurrence rate. Of the clinical patholocical data only the T and the UICC stages (negative correlation) with the CD44 expression. Nanog expression was only associated with local recurrence rate, L1 status and grading.
