KAJIAN PROGRAM KAMPUNG KELUARGA BERENCANA DI DESA PEMOGAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PELIBATAN MASYARAKAT WHO
Background: Family Planning Village is an area unit at the village level with criteria where there is an integration of the Family Planning Population and Family Development program and related sector to improve the quality of family and community life. The formulation of the research problem is how the village community is involved in family planning village program in Pemogan Village Denpasar. The aim of this research is to find out the involvement of the village community in Family Planning Village program. Method: This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design that was conducted on April to May 2021. There were 9 informants, such as the Head of Pemogan Village Denpasar, the Family Planning Instructor, Family Planning Village Cadre, and community groups with informant criteria. Data collection methods used focus group discussion, in-depth interview, and document collection. Thematic analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validation used source and method triangulation peer debriefing, and member checking. This research uses the WHO (2012) framework about community engagement. Results: Community engagement in the Family Planning Village program in Pemogan Village includes the level of inform, consult, involve, collaborate, and shared leadership. This study found that the community is involved in various phases of family planning village program. Community engagement in the Family Planning Village program is more in the implementation and monitoring phase and less in informing the program and leadership. Suggestions for the village government to increase space for community to be involved as partner in implementing activities and shared leadership through cadre empowerment and socialization.
