Kraštovaizdžio formavimo miško kirtimai (Kauno marių ir Tytuvėnų regioninio parko pavyzdžiu) ; The effectiveness of woodcutting in landscaping the forest (following the model of Kaunas reservoir and regional park of Tytuvenai)
In the Graduation paper, the effectiveness of woodcutting in landscaping the forest is being researched. The object of the paper: The woodcutting in landscaping the state forests of Kaunas Reservoir and Regional park of Tytuvenai. The purpose of the paper: To state the effectiveness of woodcutting in landscaping the forest (following the model of Kaunas Reservoir and Regional park of Tytuvenai) and give the suggestions how to do it. Methods used: The research involved 84 respondents, 14 objects have been evaluated for the visual quality of the landscape before and after the woodcutting in landscaping the forests. The visual quality of the landscape has been estimated using first-sight impression and psycholinguistic methods, as well as situational photos/models. Results of the paper: Needs of the visitors to the woods have been taken into consideration. The paper confirmed the positive influence of landscaping the forest by woodcutting and its impact on the visual quality and attendance. It also estimated the connection between the visual quality of the landscape and its attendance. Abbreviations: KFK - woodcutting in landscaping the forest, AV – the associative value of the landscape.
