DeteksiPerubahan Kawasan Mangrove di Wilayah Pesisir Kota Pangkalpinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung
This research conducted in the coastal area of Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province which has an area of 89.4 km2 with a coastline of 36 km2 and overgrown by mangrove cummunity which tendtobevaried. As provincial capitals, infrastructure building activities and equitable developmentin Pangkalpinang Cityespecially for development of industrial estates and warehouses in the coastal area also increasing. Beside that, the other factorsthat can be influence and threaten the existence and survival of mangrove communities in PangkalpinangCoast are high anthropogenic activities (impacts from tourism), port/jetty activities, mining activities (TI Apung), mangrove land conversion for various purposes such as industrial estate development, warehousing and settlement. Therefore this research needs to be done to find out the dynamics of mangrove areas in the coastal area of Pangkalpinang by using remote sensing technology and GIS as well as ecological surveys to see the condition of mangrove health from year to year in the coastal areas of Pangkal Pinang City. The result showed the dynamics of the mangrove area over a period of five years (2012-2016), with a fairly varied mangrove health condition that is poor - good, where in 2012 the mangrove area was recorded at 73.17 ha, decreased in 2013-2014 by 61.49 ha until the remaining 11.68 ha, then increased in 2015 to 484 ha and decreased again in 2016 until the remaining 470.87 ha.The decreasing of mangrove area is escorting by increasing of living area and open-land, but increasing mangrove caused by rehabilitation mangrove activity.
