THEORY PLANNED BEHAVIOR APPROACH TOWARDS PURCHASE INTENTION ENERGY-EFFICIENT HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES
The usage behavior of individual eco-friendly and energy-efficient household electronic equipment products has become an exciting research topic because of the implications for awareness of the need to target environmentally friendly consumers in purchasing behavior of energy-efficient electronic household appliances. Because it is essential to conduct further studies to understand the factors influencing consumer buying interest, this study aims to analyze buying interest in Theory Planned Behavior and Green Trust of energy-efficient household appliances. This research method is descriptive causality with a quantitative approach with a total sample of 158 respondents. Data collection used an online survey and was processed and analyzed using Structural Equation Model. The findings of this study indicate that Attitude, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavior Control, and Green Trust positively affect Purchase Intention, meaning that all hypotheses are accepted. The highest contribution that can increase the Purchase Intention of Energy-Efficient Households is Attitude; the second is Perceived Behavior Control; the third is Green Trust; and finally, Subjective Norms. The research contributes to measuring consumer behavior towards environmentally friendly and energy-efficient electronic products and home appliances so that they have sustainable implications for energy and the environment.
