Sustainable Recycling Techniques of Pavement Materials II
Pavement materials, a critical part of transportation infrastructure, are subject to considerable traffic loads and extreme variations in weather and climate. With the rapid growth in infrastructural needs, many existing pavements require prompt maintenance or reconstruction. Aimed at sustainability, innovative recycling techniques to produce the pavement materials to be used in construction have been receiving considerable attention. This reprint spotlights the innovative uses of recycled materials in asphalt and concrete pavements, including experimental research and field applications to thoroughly evaluate, optimize, and predict material properties, structural performance, and sustainability.
