PERANAN SATUAN POLISI PAMONG PRAJA (SATPOL PP) KOTA PADANG DALAM MENERTIBKAN PELANGGARAN TERHADAP PARKIR LIAR
ABSTRACT Illegal parking violations that occur in Padang City are regulated in Padang City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2013 Article 65 concerning Traffic. Research Objectives: 1) To analyze the role of the Padang City Satpol PP in curbing illegal parking violations. 2) To analyze the obstacles found by the Padang City Satpol PP in controlling illegal parking violations. The sociological juridical method is the study method used in this study, in this study the data sources used were primary data and secondary data. Document studies and interviews are some of the techniques in data collection used in this study. Next, the data will be analyzed using qualitative techniques. Various things that can be concluded in this study are: 1. The role of the Padang City Satpol PP in overcoming and controlling illegal parking violations is a) Notification to the public using loudspeakers. b) Notification to youth leaders about parking. c) Carry out law enforcement against illegal parking violators. 2) Obstacles encountered by the Padang City Satpol PP in controlling illegal parking violations, there are internal factors: a) Limited members of the Padang City Satpol PP. b) Lack of facilities and infrastructure. c) Lack of parking facilities. External factors: a) Lack of legal awareness in the community. b) Economic Factor
