Sıcak ve nemli bir iklime sahip olan ADANA’da desisif evaporatif bir iklimlendirme sisteminin uygulanabilirliğini araştırmak için deneyler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada yaz sezonu boyunca sistemin toplam performansını ve sistemi oluşturan donanımların performansını incelemek için deneyler yapılmıştır. Sistemin soğutma kapasitesi, COP, enerji ve ikinci yasa analizleri yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışmada iklimlendirilen mahalin ASHRAE tarafından belirlenen ısıl konfor bölgesi ve evaporatif soğutma uygulamaları için genişletilmiş ısıl konfor bölgesine göre sistemin ısıl konfor analizleri araştırılmıştır. ; In this study, a desiccant based evaporative cooling system for air conditioning application is developed and tested. Experiments are carried out to investigate the suitability of applying a desiccant based evaporative air conditioning system in ADANA which has hot and humid climate. In this research work, experiments are carried out to investigate the total performance of the system and performance of the components used during summer season. In addition to the cooling capacity, the coefficient of performance (COP), energy analysis and second law analysis of the system are also evaluated. Thermal comfort analysis of the system is also investigated according to thermal comfort zone defined by ASHRAE and expanded thermal comfort zone for evaporative air conditioning applications.
