ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK DINAMIK DAN STATIK JEMBATAN GANTUNG 240 METER DENGAN WIND CABLE UNTUK JALUR KONVEYOR
This paper presents a suspension bridge for a conveyor line as the object of study. A finite element model was created to simulate the suspension bridge using SAP 2000 software, and an analysis was conducted to obtain the dynamic and static characteristics of the bridge. The analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the suspension bridge indicates that the natural torsional-to-vertical bending frequency ratio of a suspension bridge with wind cables is twice that of a bridge without wind cables. This increased ratio enhances the bridge's aerodynamic stability and significantly reduces its susceptibility to flutter effects, making it more resilient to aerodynamic influences. The analysis of the static characteristics of the suspension bridge shows that the forces in the suspension cables are evenly distributed, and transverse deformations in the main bridge frame with wind cable are significantly reduced. Furthermore, bridges with wind cables can reduce the D/C ratio in several structural components.
