Nowadays digital technologies play huge role in our daily lifes. One of the most significant examples of age of technologies – internet – embraces many fields, is global and makes information worldwide accessable. Here, internet is applied to popularise architectural heritange. Referring to foreign countries experience, heritage representations on the internet are analyzed as architectural musuems and routes, sightseeing city sites, virtual 3D object reconstructions, and also various data bases. These architectual representations vary among different audiences by presenting specific informationm, visual material and other. However, all different representations are united by architecture, which attempts to attarct more audience attention to lost heritage, and at the same time popularise current to preserve it for future generations. It is believed that digital space can preserve heritage for even more years than other spaces. The paper also discusses examples of Lithuanian architectural representations on the internet, which purpose is to attract local public and foreign tourist interest. Yet, the main attarction at the moment is development of databases which give structured information about existing architectural heritage. At the same time, the paper looks into creation of architectural routs which better represent cultural heritage in general or entertainment side than concentrate on architectural heritage. Unlike other websites, www.autc.lt presents architecltural routes which are categorised with attempt to attact both tourists from Lithuania and abroad to meet exclusive Lithuanian architecture. In order to fill architectural route databases, Žaliakalnis architecture route “Contemporary Villas of Žaliakalnis” is created for website www.autc.lt where interwar period Žaliakalnis architecture with exceptional buildings – villas – are represented. Few aims are to attract audience attention to forgotten architectural structures, show different ways of representing city, and share information about heritage to prevent from its disappearance. The papers also analyses different ways of architectural representations which could attract own audience. The ways are such as architectural museum creation, forums or virtual object restorations. These methods are used to make architectural heritage more accessible and perceivable for different local or foreign audiences despite their engagement to visit or simply explore Lithuanian architectural heritage virtually.
