KINERJA PEGAWAI SEBAGAI MEDIASI: KOMPETENSI, TEAMWORK, KUALITAS LAYANAN
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of competence and teamwork on the quality of public services mediated by the performance of the employees of the Batu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office. This research is an explanatory research. The population is all permanent employees of the Batu City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service, totaling 78 people. The main data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire.The results showed that competence was not able to improve employee performance; Stronger teamwork is able to improve employee performance; Increasingly higher competence is able to improve the quality of public services; The stronger teamwork is able to improve the quality of public services; Higher employee performance is able to improve the quality of public services; Competence is not able to improve the quality of public services that are mediated by employee performance, and; The stronger teamwork is able to improve the quality of public services mediated by employee performance.Keywords: Competence, Teamwork, Employee Performance, Quality of Public Services. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh kompetensi dan teamwork terhadap kualitas layanan publik yang dimediasi kinerja pegawai Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Penataan Ruang Kota Batu. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksplanatori (explanatory research). Populasi adalah seluruh Pegawai Tetap Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Batu yang berjumlah 78 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data utama menggunakan instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk kuesioner yang besifat tertutup.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi tidak mampu meningkatkan kinerja pegawai; Teamwork yang semakin kuat mampu meningkatkan kinerja pegawai; Kompetensi yang semakin tinggi mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik; Teamwork yang semakin kuat mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik; Kinerja pegawai yang semakin tinggi mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik; Kompetensi tidak mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik yang dimediasi kinerja pegawai, dan; Teamwork yang semakin kuat mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik yang dimediasi kinerja pegawai.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Teamwork, Kinerja Pegawai, Kualitas Layanan Publik.
