Currently, plastic waste management is one of the biggest environmental protection problem. Plastic forms the biggest part of commercial waste, it pollutes the environment and it can decompose for over 500 years, that‘s why plastic processing and long-term usage in construction and industry should be considered. It is likely that plastic waste will keep growing. One of the possibilities to reduce the plastic waste is their use in concrete. In the research, instead of gravel rubble aggregate, shredded plastic waste was used as a concrete aggregate. During the research, concrete mix density, concrete mix mobility, hardened concrete water absorption and intensity of compression were determined. After assessing the results, it was noticed that the plastic waste amount had a negative influence on concrete consistence (it stiffened the mix) and hardened concrete compression intensity. Given the maximum plastic amount (10%), concrete intensity class lowered from C35/45 to C25/30.
