Medienos jungčių, naudojant medsraigčius elgsenos tyrimas ir analizė BEM ; Behaviour and FEM Analysis of Timber to Timber Joints Using Screws
Calculations of load-bearing capacity of wooden joints using screws have not been widely developed so far, little research has been done on these joints, therefore this work analyses the theoretical calculations of this type of joints and uses finite element method. The scientific literature , laboratory tests performed by scientists were researched in order to understand the behaviour, load bearing capacity, main components of the joint. Deep look was taken on 3D modelling of wooden structures using finite elements method. The failure types of joint determined by laboratory tests are summarized. The research part examines the calculation methodology of bearing capacity and stiffness, presented in Eurocode 5, and reviews the calculation methodology proposed by the researchers of the University of Trent for these joints. In the experimental part, modelling with 3D finite elements was performed by selecting one of the connections described in the laboratory studies. In order to simulate the actual connection behaviour as accurately as possible, the assumptions and simplifications are applied in a detailed description of the software package's capabilities. The results of the FEM model and theoretical calculations are compared with the results of laboratory tests. Structure: introduction, analysis of previous research, theoretical calculations, research part, comparison of results, conclusion, literature list. Thesis consist of: 65 p. text, 52 pictures, 7 tables, 21 bibliographical entries
