Medžio-betono perdangų (sijų) su dygiuotosiomis jungėmis elgsenos tyrimai ; Behavioural research of timber-concrete floor (beam) with punched metal plate fasteners
This master thesis concentrates on timber-concrete composite constructions with punched metal plate fasteners used as connections. After academic literature analysis it was observed that there are only limited number of research made on such constructions. Academic studies present timber-concrete composite construction calculation methods. In the present thesis, theoretical calculations according to Eurocode 5 and elastic-plastic model were done and their results were compared with one another. Furthermore, the load bearing capacity of punched metal plate fasteners was also calculated according to Eurocode 5. There were eight joint types presented in empirical analysis according to which the load bearing capacity and slip modules were found. Half of the constructions used in empirical analysis were additionally reinforced. The results were compared to theoretical calculations, experimantal load bearing capacity of each joint type was introduced, and the influence of additional reinforcement was identified. The present thesis consists of 6 distinct parts which are the following: introduction, literature overview and analysis, theoretical calculations, empirical research, conclusions, and references. Thesis is comprised of: 120 p. of text without appendixes, 65 pictures, 20 tables, 44 bibliographial entries. In addition, the appendixes are included.
