Welche Erfahrungen haben Sie aus Südamerika mitgebracht? In Südamerika konnte ich als junger Architekt bereits viel ausprobieren und auch großmaßstäbliche Projekte realisieren. Das war besonders im Kontext einer dichten Megacity mit über 18 Millionen Einwohnern spannend.
With deep incisions on all four sides and a glass shell, the former Centrum department store was converted into the office building UP!. Jasper Architects won the Detail Award 2022 for their transformation of the monolithic cube at Ostbahnhof station in Berlin. In 2008, you founded your office in Buenos Aires; in 2010, you won your first European competition. What experiences did you bring back from South America? Even as a young architect, in South America, I could experiment a lot and realize large-scale projects. That was especially exciting in a dense megacity of over 18 million people, where designing requires flexibility and improvisation. Those skills transferred well to complex planning tasks in Europe.
