Clichy-Batignolles – Öko-Quartier aus Beton
Das 2020 fertiggestellte neue Stadtviertel Clichy-Batignolles im Nordwesten von Paris ist in vielerlei Hinsicht ein Vorzeigeprojekt: Es erfüllt die hohen Umweltkriterien, ist sozial vielfältig und setzt auf einen nachhaltigen Nutzungsmix. Es zeigt aber auch die Grenzen eines Wirtschaftsmodells auf, in dem Bauträger und Bauindustrie noch immer am längeren Hebel sitzen.
Completed in 2020, the new Clichy-Batignolles neighbourhood in northwestern Paris is in many ways an exemplary operation, hitting all the right notes with respect to environmental credentials, social diversity, and a sustainable mix of uses. But it also shows the limits of an economic model in which developers and the construction industry still retain the upper hand.
