To the members of the building association, it was clear from the beginning that their new home in St. Andrä-Wördern was supposed to consist of near-nature, healthy and compostable materials: timber, straw, jute and loam. Assembled according to the Cradle to Cradle principle, the construction materials become circular once more without any difficulty when they reach the end of their lifecycle.
Für die als Verein organisierte Baugruppe stand von Anfang an fest, dass ihr neues Zuhause in St. Andrä-Wördern an der Donau aus naturnahen, gesunden und kompostierbaren Materialien bestehen soll: Holz, Stroh, Jute und Lehm. Gefügt nach dem Cradle-to-Cradle-Prinzip können die Baustoffe am Ende ihres Lebenszyklus problemlos in den Stoffkreislauf zurückgeführt werden.
