In order to curb unchecked bicycle parking, the city of Erfurt has erected a garage with weather-protected space for 200 cycles to the rear of the main station. These new facilities complement an existing parking structure on the opposite side of the railway lines.
Um dem wilden Parken von Fahrrädern Einhalt zu gebieten, ließ die Stadt Erfurt an der Rückseite des Hauptbahnhofs eine Fahrradgarage errichten. Sie ergänzt ein bereits bestehendes Fahrradparkhaus auf der anderen Seite der Gleise und bietet 200 witterungsgeschützte Stellplätze.
