AKADEMI DESAIN ANIMASI DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR NUSANTARA
Abstrak_ Penggunaan animasi saat ini telah mencakup ke seluruh bidang, mulai dari dunia hiburan seperti film, dunia pendidikan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah, hingga ke dunia bisnis sebagai media promosi dan penjualan. Kota Makassar yang merupakan kota terbesar di kawasan Indonesia Timur dan merupakan wilayah metropolitan terbesar kedua di luar Pulau Jawa setelah Kota Medan, belum memiliki sekolah khusus di bidang animasi. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut maka diperlukan adanya gagasan untuk penyediaan fasilitas edukasi yang mampu mencetak SDM berkualitas yang dapat bersaing di pasar internasional. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah merancang sekolah animasi yang memiliki identitas atau ciri khas dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur nusantara sehingga dapat menarik perhatian para calon animator dan juga perhatian industri animasi dunia. Metode pembahasan yang digunakan adalah eksplorasi desain dengan menguraikan masalah yang ada melalui studi literatur dan survei lapangan, mengkaitkannya dengan beberapa variabel yang berpengaruh, sehingga dapat dirumuskan sebagai acuan untuk dijadikan bahan transformasi ke dalam desain.Hasil dari penulisan ini adalah gagasan konsep perancangan sekolah animasi yaitu Akademi Desain Animasi yang menerapkan pendekatan Arsitektur Nusantara. Kata kunci : Akademi Animasi; Arsitektur Nusantara; Perancangan Abstract_At this time, The use of animation today has covered the whole sector, start from entertainment such as film, from education as a media of learning in schools, until to the business world as a media of promotion and sales. Makassar City which is the largest city in eastern Indonesia and is the second largest metropolitan area outside Java Island after Medan City does not have yet a special school in the sector of animation. Based on the phenomenon, it is necessary to have an idea for providing educational facilities that can be printed out the Quality of human resources that can compete in the international market. The purpose of this paper is to design an animation school that has the identity or characteristic by using the archipelago architecture approaching in order to attract the attention of the candidate animator and also the attention of the world animation industry. The method of discussion that has been used is design exploration by analyzing existing problems through literature studies and surveys, relating them to several influential variables, that cab be formulated as a reference for transformation material into design. The results of this paper is the idea of the concept design about animation school is the Academy of Design Animation that applies the approach of archipelago architecture.
