Villages. Identity and dis-identity between Apennine and Apuan

Starting from the reading of urban phenomena arising from 'territorial human activity, namely the formation of the smaller towns in the area between the Apuane Alps on one side and the Appennino of Tuscany and Emilia on the other hand, the study brings up the critical situation of depopulation, and dis-identity of many smaller towns of the considered area reality similar to many situations of the national territory. Rich in history and stories, the studied centers, despite having great potential, are often abandoned with situations at " return no limit." The study comes to solutions where the religious buildings (because of their strong adherence to the places) once again become the "safety nets".
