Understanding parametric architecture within the framework of architectural typology
The article deals with the issue of understanding parametric architecture within the framework of the traditional classification of architectural objects and considers the need to develop a new architectural system that can be based on the specifics of parametric architecture form generation and types of spatial structures. Examples of parametric architectural objects within the framework of traditional architectural typology, types of architectural composition and types of spatial structures are given. The principle of working with computer methods and the need to classify parametric objects within a new system based on the traditional one is described.
