Analysis of the Subsidence Evolution Characteristics of Existing Railway Lines Due to Surface Subsidence from Salt Cavern Gas Storage Facilities
The railway subgrade is a crucial component of the railway transportation system and serves as the foundation for the normal operation of the railway. Uneven subsidence of the railway subgrade is an important factor affecting the safety of train operations. In areas surrounding salt cavern gas storage facilities, subsidence caused by underground engineering can pose a threat to the safe operation of nearby railways. Through finite element numerical simulations, this study reveals the dynamic characteristics of cavity contraction and surface subsidence in salt cavern gas storage facilities under long-term operational conditions. These conclusions emphasize the complexity and long-term impacts of surface subsidence during the operation of salt cavern gas storage, providing important references for the safe operation of these facilities.
