Interchange Renovation Construction Technology of Beijing Subway Line 10 Xitucheng Station
Objective Taking the interchange renovation construction of Beijing Subway Line 10 Xitucheng Station as example, the construction scheme for interchange renovation in existing station without reserved transfer conditions is studied. Method To meet the interchange requirements with Beijing Subway Changnan Line, the existing Line 1 Xitucheng Station undergoes an interchange renovation. Openings are made on the side walls of this station concourse floor to connect with the interchange passage. The entire concourse level is cleared and converted into a paid area, with ticket gate and security inspection relocated to ground or underground halls at each entrance. Escalators and elevators are added by creating openings in the floor between the concourse and platform levels. Additionally, settlement deformation monitoring of the concrete structures in the station construction area is conducted to control the impact of activities such as side wall demolition and floor openings on existing station structure. This ensures the safety and stability of the concrete structure during the interchange renovation construction at Beijing Subway Line 10 Xitucheng Station. Result & Conclusion It is suggested to hold long-term foresight in future station planning, carry out station structure design from the macro-perspective of urban rail transit development, and preserve sufficient interchange space.
