One hundred years ago, in August 4 1909, Roberto Burle Marx was born in São Paulo. Ri-Vista and its director intend to remember him by this brief article with the gratitude due to the world-wide Master in landscape design. It certainly is the main road to the deep comprehension of the natural and aesthetic features of the species to use those in design compositions by less possible violence.
