This paper aims to describe the media discourse surrounding the conflict associated with various planning decisions taken by the provincial and municipal state of the city of Cordoba (Argentina), through successive administrations during the first decade of the century. From an interpretative approach on the implementation of a housing program called 'My house, my life', we propose to account for other movements that involve a strongly segregationist state intervention in connection with the private sector on urban weave: the process is presented from an 'non-conflictive' perspective by one of the most important media in the state.
