Oscillations of high-rise buildings under seismic influence considering physical and geometric nonlinearity
To estimate the influence of physical and geometric nonlinearity under seismic oscillations the authors used the model of 44-storied building calculation scheme. As a result the following tasks were solved: elastic dynamic analysis; consideration of geometric nonlinearity; physical nonlinearity modeling; spectral method calculation. The authors present the main research results and their practical importance.
