Eine Plattform für die Wissenschaft: Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur und Urbanistik
Teorias críticas, desenvolvimento e reprodução socioambiental: limites e possibilidades
The purpose of this article is to present, in an introductory way, part of theoretical reflections about the category of socio-environmental reconstruction. The initial goal was to understand this category considering the genealogy and teleology of the notions of “progress”, “development”, “eco – development” and “sustainable development” in the context of modern / western capitalist society, showing from the critical theories (Marx’s, Bourdieu’s, pragmatic criticism, post-colonial and post-development theories) potential limits and conceptual elements that constitute the possible “joints” to construct new concepts. From this analytical effort it is proposed that the concept of socio-environmental reconstruction contains originality to understand the dynamics of the relationship between society and nature considering the multiple processes that groups, communities, peoples and societies live, shifting the perspective of objectivist rationality guided only by comparison and linear historicity, to identify the multiple rationalities and different ways of living, considering the possibilities for emancipation and sustainability.
