Urban Afforestation: Environmental Perception from the Surrounding Residentes of the Seedling Nersey of Teresina North, Piauí
The need of urban afforestation is an evident reality in a tropical country with continental dimensions like Brazil. Due its geographic position. Based on that, this article analysed the afforestation project located in two place of seedling-nurseries distribution in north area through the “Teresina Mais Verde” program. In front of that scene, it aimed to analyze how is the owner view on environmental education. The search was accomplished from qualitative analysis records in two steps: bibliographic review and individual interview with the interested in acquiring the seedlings. The main reached results showed that the initiative is good. Though the question is not only produce seedlings and delivery them to the population. There was a lack of specific strategy to reach the main aim.
