Architecture is implicitly within the productive field of economic systems, obsolescence within this context acquires devaluation as a definition. Obsolescence in the discipline has been a not very recurrent theme since the focus persists more in the act of creation. This text seeks to discuss how the final stages associated with the detriment of a work can be the beginnings of others, how some references from art and architecture give us glimpses about the project of re-programming obsolescence as a design attribute.
