Caracterización mecánica experimental de un hormigón ligero estructural = Experimental mechanical characterisation of a structural lightweight aggregate concrete
El peso propio de la estructura es habitualmente del mismo orden o superior al de las cargas que tiene que soportar. Esto hace que las estructuras resultantes sean en muchos casos poco eficientes. La sustitución, parcial o total, en un hormigón del árido convencional por otros materiales más ligeros, consigue una reducción notable del peso del hormigón resultante. En este trabajo se analiza el comportamiento mecánico de un hormigón ligero estructural elaborado por Lafarge. Se han realizados ensayos tanto destructivos como no destructivos a distintas edades. Los resultados muestran la evolución de las características mecánicas a diferentes edades, así como su comparación con los valores estimados según distinta normativa. Abstract The self load of the structure is usually similar even bigger than any other load load which a structure carries. Due to this fact a number of structure are inefficient. The replacement in concrete of normal aggregate by lightweight aggregate reaches a markedly reduction of the concrete weight. The mechanical behavior of a lightweight aggregate concrete is analyzed in this paper. A number of tests have been done at different ages. These results have been compared with the predicted mechanical values of some regulation.
