The present text tries to justify the compelling necessity of systematic historical research about determinants and conditionalities of architectonic option which occurs concomitantly with a constructive technique and a plastic intention in the global definition of the construction. In this study, we explain by means of examples peculiar determinants of the environment and the society whose knowledge is indispensable to the perfect understanding of the architectonic work
