The complexity and the combination of many factors involved in this case of reconstruction make it unwise to jump to conclusions or apply hackneyed labels and worth reflecting about deeply. This purpose of this article is to look into the temple’s polysemy starting from its origin and history to point out its uniqueness and later moving on to technical, urbanistic and theoretical considerations that have to do with this building and provide a basis to estimate the excellence of the intervention.
