Unconventional methods and innovation trends in hydrometallurgy
A brief overview of innovation trends as well as non-traditional methods in hydrometallurgy are given in this contribution. A special attention is devoted to the elimination of elemental sulfur originated on a leached surface, leaching temperature lowering, sulfur removal from the leached surface, the use of high-energy fields in hydrometallurgy, the use of more effective leaching agents and mechanochemical leaching.
