The structuring of spatial plasticity, on the basis of planes an volumes, is treated as an aesthetic experience from a phenomenological point of view. The paper presents a criticism of the “objetivistic” maner to treat aesthetic experience, based on Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s work (France, 1908-61), mainly “Phenomenology of Perception”. Qualitatively, the research for this paper is based on work developed with a group of undergraduate students in Architecture
