Given the existing challenges which cities are built, intervened, built without rst discussing its nature or historical theoretical foundations on which the crea- tors of being erected, before these architectural-urban works that affect us all who inhabit the metropolis, is where the need for regional historical research to give us basis to solve the problems of both design and ur- ban planning that are currently towns arises. This work makes an analysis of the urban imagination through the photographic archive of Alexander V. Carmona. Using netnography main research tool images netizens prefer Internet over the city of Saltillo photographer analyzed. Ante los desafíos existentes donde las ciudades son edi cadas, intervenidas, construidas sin discutir previamente su naturaleza o los cimientos teórico históricos sobre los que los creadores las están erigiendo, ante estas obras arquitectónicas-urbanas que nos afectan a todos los que habitamos las metrópolis, es donde surge la necesidad de realizar investigaciones histórico regionales que nos brinden bases para resolver los problemas tanto de diseño y de planeación urbana que tienen actualmente las ciudades. Este trabajo hace una análisis del imaginario urbano a través del archivo fotográco del Alejandro V. Carmona. Utilizando la netnografía como herramienta principal de investigación se analizaron las imágenes de Internet que los cibernautas pre eren sobre la ciudad de Saltillo del fotógrafo.
