Simplified presentation of Professor Mayor's method of analyzing space structures by substituting for forces and stresses of 3-dimensional structure, corresponding system of co-planar forces, magnitudes of which may be found by simple processes ordinarily applied to solution of planar structures; these co-planar forces are translated back into corresponding space stresses by dividing them by cosine of slope of space member.
