Educational requirements for water resource engineers
Research work of engineers of all disciplines who participate in design and construction is outlined; it is shown that more engineers of all categories will be needed in immediate future and that there is need for expanded and continuing research program; new principles in support of engineering criteria adopted by ASCE call for combined pre-engineering and professional engineering program of 5 yr duration leading to first degree in civil engineering.
