Stress analysis of prestressed suspended roofs
By mathematical treatment of stresses in suspended, prestressed roof consisting of 2-dimensional network of cables lying in each direction in vertical parallel planes, it is proven that network must generally undergo deformation under load; neglecting horizontal displacements of joints, approximate solution, including effect of temperature and deformation of frame, may be obtained.
