Hydrodynamic analysis for high-head leaf gates
Basis is provided for generalization of experimental downpull data by separate analyses of effects of flow and geometry on hydraulic downpull on gates; test results contribute to generalized design information that permits prediction of downpull, as well as synthesis of most favorable composite form of conduit and gate; bibliographic material on hydraulics of high-head gates is given.
