Mathematical procedure is presented for case of flow of thin liquid film along wall of vertical cylinder; surface tension forces are neglected; velocity function is assumed to be polynomial; Navier-Stokes equation is combined with continuity and integrated to give expression for film thickness as function of position in accelerated region of flow.
