Biaxial flexure of columns by analog computers
Solution of differential equations governing deformational response of columns loaded within elastic range by means of electrical analog computer; specific examples for biaxial loaded, thin-walled columns of open cross section are given; scaling technique and accuracy of results; based on analog computer solutions, acutal stress distributions within given member subjected to prescribed biaxial loading can be directly determined.
