Experiments on heat treatment of sinter from Kursk magnetic anomaly ores
Experiments at sinter shop of Novo-Tul'skii metallurgical plant on heating of sinter made from mixture of Mikhailovsk and Lebedinsk ores with basicity of 0.2 and 1.25 showed that, with optimum heat treatment temperature of 1050 to 1080 C, maximum degree of devitrification of binding material is produced and high-quality product obtained.
