Economic proportions of roof structures with segmental latticed trusses
Structural analysis to determine economical proportions of rise span ratio of trusses and spacing of trusses to length of building ratio (s/L); considerations concerning s/L ratio were carried out with particular reference to design of type of garage for heavy highway equipment proposed for Nova Scotia Dept of Highways; design was made with view that ends of any building erected according to plan may be extended in future; economy in providing trusses in gable ends instead of stud walls is emphasized.
