Analytically derived unit graph and runoff
Technique programmed to solve analytically for measures of precipitation excess and unit graph shape paramaters; development of objective fitting technique is described; two-step fitting procedure substantially increased objectivity of fitting technique; two shape parameters were individually corrected by univariate technique to near-optimum values; this reduced effect of higher-order partial derivatives with respect to shape parameters; simultaneous differential correction technique was used to obtain corrections for shape and runoff parameters.
