Features of No 6 shaft, from 2000 ft to 4000 ft level; located about 4600 ft east of No 3 shaft, through which all ore, men, and material are handled; 6 by 12 ft cage compartment two 5 ft 6 in. by 5 ft 8 in. skip compartments, manway, pipe and counterweight compartments; hoist and headframe details; shaft timbering; sinking practice; ventilation.
